Un-Go 08 – Let’s End This Beautiful Dream

DAT FACE.

HOLY CRAP.

This episode was hilarious and fabulous. I have no words. I think most blogs have said everything that needs to be said about this episode, so allow me to gush senselessly about how awesome this episode was. I loved the part where Kazamori gave Shinjuro three shocks as well as Shinjuro giving Rie and Izumi shocks.

And who can forget Hayami? I thought his crush on adult!Inga was something exclusive in the manga, but it’s hinted in the anime as well. Who can blame him though?

I’d love to see how the final arc is going to be. Kaishou has Bettenou, and that alone is a very frightening thought.

P.S: What the hell? What kind of business is ‘cooking yakitori in a bathing suit?’ and inviting Inga to work part time too! Shinjuro has the strangest neighbors and clients.

  1. THIS SHOW IS THE BEST SHOW.

haha i am in complete agreement with everything being hilarious and fabulous oh my god. kazamori was so so great, but what i loved was that everyone got a moment to shine. i find myself getting more and more excited every week which means that un-go is doing it right!

Same here. I’m really happy with how this show has progressed. I’m pretty sad that there’s only like– three episodes left. :/

  2. Hayami’s straightforwardness is what makes him so great.

Is the fridge a suspect? Yes? Well, then we need to handcuff the fridge and bring it in for questioning. What? Why are you laughing?

Is Inga currently an adult woman? Yes? Well, sweet. Was she a young boy all of ten seconds ago? Yes? So what? That was then, this is now.

I actually kinda wonder if he’s not that enthusiastic about Izumi and Rinroku’s antics, but has to play along because Izumi’s higher-up in the food chain.

    • Hayami is so straightforward, it’s positively charming!

That short moment in episode 8 really showed a completely different side to Hayami. It seems he has a pretty good idea what’s going on. But like you said, being a subordinate doesn’t really give him much of a choice.
